Alex Crowther is a driven, analytical and enthusiastic advertising leader. During his 22 years in the advertising and media business Alex has:
- Started DAVINCI Selectwork in 2003 - Servicing blue-chip brands in the areas of Global Communications / Media Planning and Campaign Management. Focusing on holistic, integrated, multi-media communication programs
- Won the global media assignments for Mercedes-Benz and Chrysler, the USA business of Mitsubishi Motors, the communications planning for Braun, Gillette, Venus (P&G)
- Sold DAVINCI to Omnicom (NYSE: OMC)
- Prior to DAVINCI, pitched, won and launched DCMA - a joint venture of Mediaedge:cia and BBDO; running DCMA as Managing Director. DCMA managed the globally consolidated media business of Chrysler and Mercedes with billings of $1.45b
- Before DCMA he ran large clients or the media operations at Ad / Media Agencies FCB, Bozell, Carat, CIA International and Media Buying Services. Clients included Nissan, Absolut Vodka, Gateway, Wrangler, Giorgio Armani, Nike, Radio Shack...
- A career that has taken him to over 70 countries and allowed him to live in Detroit, London, Singapore, Brussels, Geneva, Dusseldorf, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
Alex is currently employed with DAVINCI as CEO Americas/Asia Pacific but is looking seriously for the next 10 year challenge. He and his family are prepared to look at any corner of the globe to find the right opportunity. He holds a UK passport and is a permanent resident in the United Stated (eligible for citizenship).
